What do I need to bring with me for my first stalk?
All equipment is provided, just bring yourself - if you do have deer stalking equipment (particulally binoculars) and would like to bring please do.
What should I wear?
Dress for the weather, it's important to wear the right gear to stay comfortable, safe, and stealthy. Wear sturdy, waterproof boots, hat and gloves, ear camo or earth-toned clothing that blends with your surroundings (no trainers), further advice can be provided on booking.
Do I need my own rifle, can I borrow one?
We can provide the latest rifles and optics for you to borrow whilst on a stalk, when you borrow a rifle it is done so under the U.K.’s Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988, Section 16 (https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1988/45/section/16/enacted).
If you do have your own rifle and valid FAC please let us know when booking.
Do I need a current Firearms Certificate (FAC)?
You do NOT need a FAC, rifles can be loaned under the "Estate Rifle" provision, see here for more information You must confirm eligibility via section 21 declaration (to confirm you are not banned from using or being near firearms).
How much does it cost to go stalking?
Costs are tailored to suit individual hunts, we will be upfront when you make your booking and do not include any hidden fees.
Can I bring a friend or observer?
Yes, please let us know when making your booking.
Where does the stalking take place?
Stalking locations will vary depending on your requests, for example: time of day, time of year and species of deer.
Do you offer any courses linked to PDS1 or DSC1?
Yes, our guides and instructors are accredited up to PDS2 and DSC2 accredited witness.
Do use dogs to track deer?
Yes, fully trained deer dogs are always avaliable.
Can I keep the carcass or meat?
Yes, any carcass can be sold at the going rate (weight, species etc.)
Do you charge trophy or taxidermy fees?
Trophy fees & taxidermy can be tailored to individuals needs, let us know what your looking for when making your booking.

What is your cancellation policy?
